Judy Leslie's passion for art began in childhood. Over the years, she developed skills as a potter, stained glass artist, painter, photographer and seamstress. These skills allowed her to easily transition to the evolving aesthetics of fibre art over the last twenty years.

Inspired by her environment and world travels, Judy uses her hand dyed cottons, silks, wool and linen fabrics to bring her chosen images to life. She adds detail to many of her creations through the use of extensive thread painting, stamping, stencilling, foiling, felting, beading and a variety of fabric resist methods. Judy continues to experiment with new techniques and a variety of art supplies in order to add interest and depth to her images. 

Judy has received numberous significant awards for her work in regional, national and international exhibits.
